Seventh-day Adventist Maranath Seminary (SAMS) is operated by the Seventh–day Adventist Church of Bangladesh under the supervision of West Bangladesh Mission of SDA. SAMS is a co-educational boarding seminary. It is accredited by the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist School, Colleges and Universities, International Board of Higher Education, Silver Spring, Maryland, USA.”SAMS’’ is the short form of Seventh-day Adventist Maranatha Seminary. It is located about 300 Kilometers Northwest of the capital city of Dhaka. SAMS is in the district of Joypurhat, under the Panchbibi police Station Village Bajitpur, Post Office Atapur. Around twenty-five acres of attractive rural land hold the school campus including farm and garden areas.

The school offers from kindergarten to twelfth grade education. The mediums of instructions are in Bangla and English. In classes IX and X the school offers three streams of education such as Arts, Commerce and Science. Classes XI and XII school offers Arts, Commerce and Science. SAMS follows the government curriculum, Adventist curriculum, and systems. School has modern facilities with furnished dormitories for the boys and girls, Cafeteria, Well-equipped Science lab, a Library, Computer lab, Well-ventilated classrooms, several multipurpose buildings, play ground and Faculty housing. SAMS is offering computer classes from VI to XII grade students.

The orphanage Center of Seventh-day Adventist Maranatha Seminary has added flavour to this institution. Homeless, parentless, and aimless children of Bangladesh provide a ray of hope for their lives. The orphan children are getting education, care and love from the orphanage center. Students are preparing for this world and the world to come.

Sewing, vocational training is offered by Seventh-day Adventist Maranatha Seminary. Through these center, students are learning new trade, by which they can survive in Bangladesh and be an asset to our country. Seventh-day Adventist Maranatha Seminary is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist World educational program. The school is eager to provide quality education to meet the needs of the young people of Bangladesh. SAMS has 805 (eight hundred five) students that include orphan children.
