Akhi's Story

Akhi is 14 years old and is in 8th grade this year. Her father died when she was six years old. She was growing up in a small family with parental affection because she is the only daughter of her parents. Before she understood well, something happened unexpectedly. Her father died May 8, 2009 from a major heart attack. Great sorrow came to the family. Father was the only source of income in their family. Her mother, Nayamee, Hembrom, does not know what to do. Finally they both came to Bangla Hope where her mother got a job working as a Caregiver and Akhi has the chance to go to school at Bangla Hope. Now they both have food and shelter, and the chance to know the love of God. They both would like to say, that the earthly father died and leave them but their Heavenly Father, which in heaven, always He leading them in a miraculous way. Akhi is a good and humble girl.
