Brent's Story

Our office received a call from our Gopalgonj School in the south mission. There was a lady across the canal with two small children. Her husband had died of cancer a few months before, and now she has no source of income. She has no relatives to help her so she needed to go to work as a housemaid. She could not take care of her children and she wanted us to take them. We sent some of our personnel out to where she lived. They arrived and found two scared little children. Brent was about 15 months old and his sister Sherry was close to 3 years old. They brought the children to our receiving center where they are getting lots of love, good food, and tender care.
