Kimberly's Story

Kimberlys familys home is located in the southern part of Bangladesh. We had heard about the need of this family so we decided to make the trip. It took us six hours to get to the village where the father was to meet us. We drove down a road which was more like a path than a road. We came to the end of the road and had to walk over two bridges that were in desperate need of repair...one was more holes than bridge! We finally made it to the home where we were to meet the families of the babies. There we met Kimberly. Kimberly, her two sisters and a brother. This family is very poor. They have no land, but live in a house made of leaves with a piece of tin on top. The father is a day laborer, but does not make enough to feed the whole family. It was not an easy decision for this family, but they felt it was best for Kimberly to go to Bangla Hope where she would not go hungry. We brought Kimberly with us back to the receiving center. Thank you for your willingness to sponsor Kimberly. I know you will be blessed.
