Sheba's Story

Sheba's family home was situated half-on and half-off of a path leading to Ramshil Village in the southern part of Bangladesh. They had no land, so the father used jute sticks to build a small house on the pathway. They had three daughters when the mother got sick with typhoid. Her fever went so high that the disease left her simple minded. She could not take care of Sheba or care for her family. The father knew it was best for Sheba to become a part of Bangla Hope Receiving Center. Sheba is a sweet little girl and we know she will adjust well. Thank you for making her life better. She now has good food, clean clothes and a nice bed. She will learn about Jesus love and she will get a good education. Thank you so much for sponsoring Sheba. We know God will bless you as you help her through life.

Update 1/2015: Sheba is in class 6. She likes her English class very much. Her favorite food is ice cream even though she does not get it very often. During her free time she likes to draw or play with dolls. Her best friends are Kakoli and Kimberly. She wants to be an artist someday. Sheba is always friendly and full of sunshine! She is a good girl.

Update 7/2020: Congratulations to Sheba for passing her SSC (10th grade) exam! She has selected the Arts as her area of study.
